HPC on AWS
EIF-Services is currently investigating various ways to set up an AWS cluster.
A first experiment based on ParallelCluster (launched in 2018) led to an issue already noticed elsewhere.

Automating the deployment of calculations on a platform such as AWS is an important issue in order to increase the productivity of Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) studies. Indeed a company should charge for the time spent developing the model and not not while performing command line sessions, which are difficult to remember when they are not practiced on a daily basis.
Subversion on VPS: done!
The Subversion server operated by EIF-services is now up and running on our VPS; it is thus available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Subversion on VPS
The EIF-services web server is running on a Virtual Private Server (VPS) hosted by Nuxit, but our Subversion server is currently implemented on a local network PC (port forwarded to the Internet, though).
In order to provide a better availability of the Subversion server by EIF-services, it is being migrated to our Nuxit VPS.
