EIF-services is currently investigating HPC on AWS.

After much reading (e.g. this course) and some preliminary tests using the CLI to start/login/stop a single Ubuntu instance (this tutorial), the next step will consist in this CFD workshop (using OpenFOAM), possibly adapted to the latest AWS Parallel Computing Service... stay tuned!
