Recover icon updating on (some versions of) Ubuntu

Icon - Ubuntu YATiSh updates its icon to reflect the recording status (whether an activity is being tracked or not, cf. panel #1). This (minor) feature works well on Windows (10) and Lubuntu (18.04 LTS) but is somewhat unstable on mainstream Ubuntu:

Ubuntu 18.04 LTS (Bionic Beaver) & 20.04 LTS (Focal Fossa):
There is a trick to recover icon updating:
delete /usr/share/applications/yatish.desktop
(or move it somewhere else in case you change your mind later on).
Yatish will then disappear from the Activities view (Super key)
but you can still start it easily by typing yatish after ALT-F2.
Ubuntu 22.02 LTS (Jammy JellyFish):
Feature not working (except in the About... box!).
Leave the yatish.desktop otherwise you won't get any icon.
